Windmill
A nice old windmill I recently discovered in my area.
Some key milestones of this beautiful, old piece of architecture:
1805: Built using local limestone by Samuel Holman.
1876: Closed for commercial milling due to steam power competition.
1996: Restored and reopened to the public after community and council efforts.
2025–2026: Underwent major conservation and restoration.
